With 2018 just days away, now is about time to take a look back at some of my pictorial highlights from the last 12 months.
2017 has been a mixed year for me from a photographic perspective. In the end, due to university and latterly working commitments, I couldn't get out with the camera as much as desired, and even when I did, the weather often seemed to be working against me.
That being said, I feel that this year has seen a big jump in the quality of work I've been able to produce, coming as a mix of improved technique, but also getting to grips better with different post-processing software to bring the most out of my pictures.
Below are some of my personal favourite photos taken over the course of the last year in chronological order. From an evening spent on the mound at Southampton Airport in February, to a damp October night on the 32 Squadron ramp at RAF Northolt, via Southern Spain, Northern France, and many places besides.
For next year I have plenty of plans in terms of picking up where I have left off in terms of photography, and I look forward sharing them with you as and when!
